The inquiry that guided my sustained investigation towards the end of the year was how I could get the eye to move from one place to another, and my ultimate goal which I defined with my later works was how I can make something which feels like it is moving and alive almost. Over the course of the year, I have changed my guiding questions, my medium of work, and tried many different and new things. I eventually decided to work with drawing with much of my early work being unrelated to a sustained investigation or guided question. I worked with pencil, oil pastel, and pen, eventually landing on line work with pen and pencil. This work motivated the creation of my sustained investigation. One of my pieces which pushed me to create my sustained investigation was one which seemed almost alive, the lines creating a movement which captured my interest for my continuing works. After that one piece, my next pieces became focused on creating movement with my lines. My pieces following all are attempts at creating movement with lines, each with different distinct aspects of their own.
